Este é o segundo EP lançado pelo JackDevil, feito de forma independente assim como o primeiro que apresenta melhorias na gravação e algumas mudanças sonoras em relação ao primeiro EP Under The Satan Command.
Neste EP a banda está menos porrada que o anterior, há mais de Heavy Metal Tradicional no som da banda, mas ainda há riffs matadores que nos remetem ao bom e velho Thrash old School como nas faixas Faster than Evil e Flashlights (a mais Thrash Metal da velha escola desse EP), mas tais riffs não são absolutos, sempre há alternâncias que fazem a banda passear pelo Heavy Metal e toda essa caminhada de volta ao passado são coordenados pelo chefe da cozinha, meu xará, Filipe Stress que comanda a bateria.
Bastards In The Guillotine começa com uma longa, mas bela intro de baixo, executado por Renato Speedwolf, que nesse EP ficou mais encaixado e na dose certa, se compararmos com o álbum anterior, seguido mais adiante de um teclado até que as guitarras entram com riffs matadores do bom e velho Heavy Metal, além de solos bem executados por Ric Andrade e os vocais marcantes de André Nadler.
Scream For Me beira ao Punk Old School e lembra também os primórdios do Thrash Metal nos anos 80 e em Nigth of The Killer é Heavy Metal puro sem meios termos, levada da batera, vocais e riffs, uma faixa bem construída nos permitindo voltar no tempo e começar todo o sonho novamente como se estivéssemos nos primórdios do Heavy Metal oitentista.
Este segundo EP também vem numa versão paper sleeve mas com encarte e letras permitindo acompanhar a banda faixa por faixa. A qualidade da gravação é melhor que o primeiro pelo fato dos instrumentos estarem mais equilibrados, ou seja, não há excessos ou um instrumento sobressaindo ao outro. Este EP soa mais leve que o anterior, mas com mais qualidade.
Parabéns a banda pelos trabalhos lançados, fica a expectativa do lançamento de um Álbum Cheio com um grande produção.
Aos fãs saudosos do velho Iron Maiden “na fase dos álbuns da primeira metade dos anos 80”, Metalica “Kill Em All” e Slayer “Show no Mercy” sugiro conhecer essa banda brasileira pois apreciarão os trabalhos do do Jack Devil.
